Previously owned by the Sazerac company, but now known as The famous Buffalo Trace Distillery.  It is the most award-winning distillery and has won several awards, including not one, but seven \"Distillery of the Year\" recognitions. Buffalo Trace Distillery is still family-owned and located in Franklin County, Kentucky, with over 130 acres of architecture, all still operational. This once use to be the home for the world's most exclusive Master Distillers such as Albert B. Blanton, E.H. Taylor, Elmer T. Lee, George T.
